Board of Trustees

The Middleton School District is governed by a five-member Board, each representing one of the five zones that make up the District.  The members are elected for four-year terms. Each member must be a qualified voter in the School District and a resident of the zone he or she represents.

Pam was appointed as a trustee in July of 2020 and re-elected in November 2021.

A native Idahoan, Pam was born and raised in Caldwell. After graduating from Caldwell High School, she attended Utah Valley University where she obtained an Associates Degree. In 1996 she married her husband; they now have five children and a son-in-law. Pam and her family moved to Middleton in 2007. Three of her five children are Middleton High School graduates.

Pam is very active in her local community, especially with sports. For the last 25 years she has been an on and off youth volleyball coach. Her summers are spent running the Caldwell Junior Golf program. She enjoys volunteering for the program because she can help kids from Middleton and Caldwell learn a life skill. If the weather is warm and the sky is clear, Pam and her family can usually be found at the golf course.

Pam is grateful to be giving back to the Middleton community that has supported her and her family throughout the years.

Jake was appointed as a trustee in July of 2020 and re-elected November 2023. 

Jake is a more recent resident in Middleton, where he moved his family to enjoy a safer, more rural lifestyle. Jake attended College in Eastern Idaho and in Washington State and has focused on business and entrepreneurship for his whole career. He currently works in Business Development for a tech company.

Helping kids get ready for the real world is something that Jake is passionate about. He has spent time volunteering for Scouting organizations and often offers mentoring for small businesses at no charge. He believes that both the social and practical aspects of education are essential to the success of our younger generation as they prepare to meet the demands of an ever changing world. Jake is looking forward to finding creative ways to solve problems and enhance the community’s education experience. 

Now that Jake and his family are settled, he doesn’t stray too far from home. Most of his time is spent with his family or enjoying the local outdoors. Idaho is where he is meant to be.

Jay was elected trustee in November 2021 and took office in January 2022. 

Jay Clark is a Middleton area farmer, growing up in the Middleton area and attended and graduated from Middleton School District system.

Cindee Powell was elected trustee in November 2021 and took office in January 2022. 

Cindee Powell grew up in Middleton on a farm and attended and graduated from the Middleton School system.

"I love Middleton and I am committed to our schools and community and I want to be an advocate for all children and their right to learn and achieve their potential."

Cindee attended Boise State University and earned a BA in Elementary Education with K-8/Special Education K-12 and a Master's in Special Education.

She retired after 36 years as an educator, consulting teacher and supervisor.

Derek was appointed as a trustee in June of 2019 and re-elected in November 2023. 

Derek and his family have lived in Middleton since 1997. He and his wife Cheri have 2 sons that attend Middleton schools. Derek is an Idahoan who played college athletics and earned his degree from Boise State University.

Derek’s career involves working for a number of Fortune 500 companies, startups, as well as an Entrepreneur in the field of business, management and marketing.

The Moore family is very involved within the Middleton Community as well as academics and athletics.

The Moores' live a very active lifestyle which includes sports, snow skiing, snow biking, boating, golfing, hunting, and most of all enjoying life!!
