Care Solace connects Middleton School District students, staff, and their families to care. At no cost to you, Care Solace will quickly and confidentially find available mental health and substance-use providers matched to your needs.
Care Solace Offers:
Confidentiality: Completely confidential.
24/7/365 Multilingual Support: A multilingual team is available 24/7/365 to help you understand options, call providers on your behalf, and schedule an appointment.
Care Regardless of Insurance: Connect to care with any insurance coverage including Medicaid, Medicare, and sliding scale options for those without insurance.
Easy Access to Care: Use Care Match, the self-serve website, to find a provider on your own.
Please note: Care Solace is not an emergency response service or mental health service provider. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1 or the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline 9-8-8.

Students develop strengths

Sources of Strength is a peer-led program at the high school designed to promote mental wellness and resilience among students and parents, fostering positive connections and support networks within the school community.
Start with school counselors

Trained school counselors are available to provide support and guidance to students and parents, offering individual support, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources as needed.
Staff members trained

This program provides training for staff members to recognize and respond effectively to mental health crises among youth, equipping them with the skills to provide immediate assistance and connect students with appropriate resources. All secondary staff will be trained in the next three years.
Optum Idaho


Optum Idaho connects individuals with substance abuse and mental health providers, offering access to assessment, treatment, and support services tailored to their needs.
Employee Assistance Program

EAP offers confidential counseling, support, and resources to staff members to help them address personal or work-related challenges that may affect their mental health and well-being.
Idaho Lives

Idaho Lives is a suicide prevention program that offers resources, support, and training to school staff, students, and parents to raise awareness about suicide risk factors and prevention strategies.

- On-Site Mental Health Services: A licensed therapist will be available on the Middleton High School campus, offering individual counseling sessions, crisis intervention, and mental health education when approved by parents.
- Confidential and Convenient Access: With parent approval, students can access support during school hours, minimizing barriers such as transportation or scheduling conflicts that often prevent young people from seeking help.
- Comprehensive Support for Mental Health Challenges: The at-school clinical counselor is available to help teens navigate various mental health issues, including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Mood and focus issues
- Low self-esteem
- Self-harm
- Substance misuse
- Safe relationships
- Trauma
- Expert Care: Services are provided by a master’s level counselor from Terry Reilly Health Services in partnership with the Middleton School District, ensuring professional, high-quality mental health support for students.
