Technology Mission Statement
To create a Next Generation Learning Environment that encompasses the integration of online media, peer-to-peer interaction, non-linear learning, and emerging technologies that foster the four components of the 21st century learner: communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.
Technology Vision Statement
Through the use of current and cutting edge technology, we will enable learners to become effective, efficient and productive in their life pursuits. All district schools and offices are connected on a wide area network, thus providing the means to utilize all technology as a tool for learning, management of instruction, and to enhance communication.
Middleton School District #134 strives to ensure that all students will achieve the standards listed by the State and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and every student graduating from high school will demonstrate competency in computer applications and online resources.
