AmeriCorps Reading Tutor Program

Help Students Discover the Joy of Reading

Middleton School District is partnering with Reading Corps to help students build strong literacy skills and develop confidence as readers.

Reading proficiency is one of the strongest predictors of future academic success, yet many students need additional support to master foundational reading skills. Through Reading Corps, caring adults provide the extra encouragement and individualized practice students need to thrive.

What is Reading Corps?

Reading Corps is a research-based tutoring program that places trained tutors in local schools to work directly with students who need additional support in reading. Tutors use proven strategies and engaging activities to help students strengthen their literacy skills and build confidence.

The extra support makes a lasting difference. Reading Corps has helped thousands of students improve their reading abilities and develop a stronger foundation for lifelong learning.
