AmeriCorps Math Tutor Program
Help Students Multiply Their Success
Middleton School District is partnering with Math Corps to help students strengthen their math skills and build confidence in the classroom.
Across the nation, fewer than one-third of eighth-grade students are proficient in math. Through Math Corps, caring adults can make a meaningful difference by providing targeted support to students who need extra practice and encouragement.
What is Math Corps?
Math Corps is a proven tutoring program that places trained tutors in local schools to work directly with students who need additional support in mathematics. Tutors help students build essential skills through engaging, evidence-based activities designed to accelerate learning and increase confidence.
More than 91,000 students nationwide have benefited from Math Corps support, and students who participate in the program make progress twice as fast as average.
