Hi!

My name is Melissa Scott. i am a special education Teacher at Purple Sage elementary.I have been in the education field for 5 years, 1 year as a substitute, 1 year as a 1 on 1 para professional, and 3 years as a Certified teacher, 2 of which were in Mountain Home in the Extended Resource program. Special Education has always been a passion of mine. I believe that every child has the ability to learn, some just learn in other ways. 

I have been engaged for 2 years, have 2 children (Austin and Madison), and 2 dogs (Quibbly- a Malamute Retriever, and Bella an Old English Bulldog). As a family we love to go camping several times a year, off roading and exploring new places. 

In my free time (which is very little), I like to read, make cards, craft, color, listen to music and go places with friends.
