Mrs. Cheryl Keithley

I have been teaching at MHS since 1997.  I completed my Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Secondary Education, and I earned endorsements in Reading and History from BSU.  I have continued my education through course work at BSU and NNU, and I am approved to teach dual credit Fundamentals of Oral Communication, Technical Communications, and Introduction to Literature for the College of Western Idaho.  

I am currently the MHS College and Career Advisor, Foreign Exchange Student Coordinator, and Work-Based Learning Coordinator.  In addition, I have taught Sophomore and Junior English, Honors Junior English for dual credit, Creative Writing, Reading, Speech for dual credit, U.S. History, U.S. History I and II, U.S. History/American Literature block, Skills for Success, Introduction to Journalism, and Advisory.  I am currently a co-advisor for the MHS Book Club, and I have served as an advisor for MHS Key Club, MHS Bowling Club, and National Honor Society.  In addition, I served as a department head for eight years.
