Mrs. Tiffany Caagbay
My name is Tiffany Caagbay. I have been a classroom teacher for almost twenty years and am currently serving as the GT facilitator for the Middleton School District. I have many roles within this title, including identifying student potential and examining multiple areas of giftedness. For students who are identified as highly capable learners, exceeding several grade levels above their peers, I offer advanced academic services that best align with and nurture each child's potential. I also work closely with my students' teachers and families to serve as a resource for creative, intellectual, and social-emotional development. Additionally, my door is always open to staff, parents, and students to help brainstorm strategies for challenging all students served within our community.
On a personal level and with much gratitude, I am proud to share that I am married and have two sons. As a parent, myself, to a gifted child, I hold a special place in my heart for our gifted learners. It has been because of my own son's experiences, that I connect with the unique strengths and struggles that this particular student population encounters within their classrooms and communities. I have a passion for advocating on behalf of our gifted students, believing that all students deserve to be challenged, every day. As a family, we enjoy movie nights, nature hikes, and long road trips! I also enjoy reading many different genres of books, going antique shopping, and learning about history.
Thank you for stopping by! I look forward to working with each of my families in the coming year!
