Hello, my name is Wayne Ross and I teach English Language Arts at Middleton Academy. I have been teaching English courses since 2004 and obtained my MA in the Teaching of English Language Arts from BSU in 2010.
As an advocate for post-secondary education, I have been a rallying force behind offering dual credit courses through the College of Western Idaho. In the past three years we have been able to offer English, Finance, History, PE, and Study Skills courses and plan to continue to offer as many courses as we can fit into our yearly schedule. I believe that academic rigor and high expectations are two fundamental keys to student success.
As we begin another year of our journey into a Mastery based system, our students will have even greater opportunites to thrive as self-motivated, independently minded learners.
