My name is Roy Romero. I started with the Middleton School District in the 2022/2023 school year as a behavior interventionist in the special education department. I am excited about being a teacher at Middleton High School.
My expertise is working with young people who have various challenges and guiding them to be successful, positive members of the community. In my prior career, I was a manager for a county probation department. I worked diligently with youth, adults and staff under my supervision to provide the best services, training and guidance possible. I have taken that same mission and applied it to the youth I serve at the high school. As a teacher, I understand the basic necessity of classroom management in order to provide a safe and constructive milieu for learning. I look forward to meeting new students, experiencing new things and expanding the abilities of each student.
Outside of teaching, I coach youth baseball for a local Middleton team. I enjoy hiking, cooking on the grill and crossword puzzles. I have two great sons that attend school in the Middleton School District. My wife and I decided to move to Middleton because of the small town aspect and we have not regretted our decision one bit! We love this community and are happy to be part of it.
