My name is Dave Stacy and I am a 5^th grade teacher at Purple Sage Elementary School. I have worn many hats in my career including: Special-ed paraprofessional, Title I teacher, Middle school math teacher, 5^th grade teacher, and studio teacher. In addition to these roles, I spent a year on the Advaned-Ed accreditation team and traveled through Wyoming helping schools with the accreditation process. I have played a key role in district accreditation, curriculum adoption and curriculum mapping, and teacher in-services. 

I graduated from Regis University. I am a member of MEA. I completed the Idaho Core Teacher Network in Spring of 2016. I believe every child can learn, maybe not in the same day or in the same way. My role is to help facilitate learning so that every child is successful. "What you know is not as important as how you think."
