I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to do PE with your students this year. Many of you may recognize me from fifth grade, which is where I taught for the past 6 years and before that I taught fourth grade for 5 years. This will be my 12th year teaching at Purple Sage, and I couldn’t be more excited to jump into this new role of teaching Physical Education. Healthy living has been a key part of my life for as long as I can remember. From elementary through high school, I was heavily involved in a variety of sports and activities: soccer, basketball, and track (which I continued through college). I love being active all year whether it’s hiking or snowshoeing through the mountains, skiing down the slopes or archery in the fall. I’m excited to share my love for exercise, healthy living and teamwork with your students this year!
