Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Randy Dalzell

Hello! I have been teaching mathematics and/or physical education classes and coaching, mainly track and field/cross country, for over thirty years. I grew up in the Treasure Valley in Ontario, Oregon, but have coached and taught in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho in a wide variety of schools ranging from large urban to small rural settings. I have coached both high school and college athletes as well as been an athletic administrator at both the high school and college level. In my spare time, I have started or developed a number of businesses, all centered around athletics.

I have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics/secondary education from Columbia Christian College in Portland, Oregon. I have a master’s degree in physical education from Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon. I also completed a program in college athletic administration from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. In addition, I have done graduate work in sports law, sports marketing, public school law, and exercise science.

I enjoy reading, cycling, strength training, skiing, fishing  and music in my leisure time. I am excited to be at Middleton High School and am eager to be a great resource for your mathematics learning!
