"Doing the right thing, for the right reason"- Stephen R Covey

This is my second year of teaching at Middleton High School. I completed my Bachelors Degree by student teaching at Madison High School (located in Rexburg, ID) during the Fall 2019 semester. I helped to teach 2 courses: 2 sections of Geometry and 2 sections of Algebra 2. I now teach several sections of Math 1 (equivalent to Algebra 1) and a section of Math Support here in Middleton.

My wife and I have been married for three years as of November 2019. We met in college and pursued our degrees together, ultimately walking together at our graduation in December of 2019. My wife graduated with a Bachelors Degree in University Studies where she minored in Public Health and gained certifications in Health Psychology and Child Development. We both enjoy playing board games together, spending time outside, and going out to eat. We currently do not have any children, but they are in our future plans.

I love being a teacher because I get to work with a variety of young adults. I have a strong desire to see my students succeed in their coursework and in their future lives. I recognize the great opportunity I have where I have been entrusted with the responsibility to help these fine young adults grow and learn. I know everyone that comes into my classroom can be successful if they have a desire to succeed and they will put in the required effort. Math is not something that comes naturally to everyone, but everyone can LEARN to be a mathematician.
