Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Wendi Densley
Hello! My name is Wendi Densley, and I am so excited to be a counselor at Middleton Middle School. This will be my second year in the role of school counselor. The education gene runs deep in my family. Both my grandmother and mother taught most of their lives. My teaching career began as a Kindergarten teacher in Killeen, Texas, while my husband was stationed at Fort Hood. When he deployed, I moved back to Idaho, my home state! I then spent 10 years as a youth pastor working with adolescents. This gave me the drive to go back into the school system to impact a wider variety of students. I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with my Masters in school counseling in December of 2019.
I’ve lived in Middleton for the last 10 years and have two children who attend school in the district. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and feel so lucky to call Middleton home! Go Vikes!
One of my favorite quotes is:
“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
— Christopher Robin to Pooh, A.A. Milne”
My goal as a school counselor is to help all students know they are brave, strong, and smart.
