Mrs. Emily Trautman

Hello,

I am so excited for this year to start! If you or your student(s) have not taken one of my classes in the past, let me introduce myself. I grew up in New Plymouth on a farm where my father, my mother, and I still keep the farming tradition alive in Payette County.  I pursued my interest in agriculture at the University of Idaho where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Veterinary Science: Production and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education. After graduating, I spent my first year teaching at American Falls High School, where I was able to obtain my endorsement for teaching all Natural Sciences. I have committed to continuing my education at the University of Idaho aiming to earn a Master's of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from their College of Education Health & Human Sciences.

I started teaching at Middleton High School in 2017 and have been dedicated to Middleton's students' education ever since. Currently, I teach Earth Science in the Science Department as well as Study Skills for those who need help managing their school work. It is my opinion that your student is the future of our community. Schools are endowed a large amount of responsibility to promote democracy and prepare our citizenry for careers that promote economic prosperity. It is my goal to stand firm in a chain of exceptional educators; linked with these ideals so that our children might prosper.

If you have any questions, please ask directly. My prep is first hour. I look forward to working with you and your student(s).

Thank you
