Miss Emily Fisher
My name is Emily Fisher; I am so excited to be teaching in the Middleton School District. I will be the newest addition to the Agricultural Education Program. Nick Davis and Harley Wilson have helped me adjust, and we are working as a team to bring your students quality Ag Education.
I started my career in teaching by graduating from the University of Idaho in 2016 with a B.S. degree in Animal Veterinary Science and Agricultural Education. I student taught at Columbia High School in Nampa and taught for my first year at Americal Falls High School.
Instruction in the classroom is a carefully cultivated skill. I have been working very hard to spend time reflecting and learning were I can improve my techniques for my students.
I am equally excited to be working with two other very established and knowledgabe FFA Advisors. FFA brings students closer to the goals that they so diligently set for themselves. FFA provides a link to the outside world were students can practice the skill they have learned in the classroom, and hopefully realize their true potential.
It is my ideal goal that all students in my agricultural education program has an SAE- Supervised Agricultural Experience. This is how students will achieve and learn self actuation. They have to understand that they are the at the core of their own individual success. Somethings can only be taught by experience.
