Expanded Mental Health Support in Middleton Schools

The Middleton School District is excited to announce the expansion of our partnership with Terry Reilly Health Services to bring dedicated, parent-approved mental health support to students across the district. This collaboration now includes two licensed clinical counselors serving Middleton High School, Middleton Academy, Middleton Middle School, and the Middle School Academy.

This expansion reflects our commitment to addressing the growing need for accessible mental health care within our school community and ensuring that students have the resources they need to thrive both academically and emotionally.


Key Features of the Partnership:

  • On-Site Mental Health Services: Licensed therapists are available on campus, offering individual counseling sessions, crisis intervention, and mental health education when approved by parents.
  • Confidential and Convenient Access: With parent approval, students can access support during school hours, minimizing barriers such as transportation or scheduling conflicts.
  • Comprehensive Support for Mental Health Challenges: Clinical counselors are available to help teens navigate various issues, including:
    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Mood and focus issues
    • Low self-esteem
    • Self-harm
    • Substance misuse
    • Safe relationships
    • Trauma
  • Expert Care: Services are provided by master’s-level counselors from Terry Reilly Health Services in partnership with the Middleton School District.

Meet Our Clinical CounselorsBreanna Gross, LMSW – Middleton High School & Middleton AcademyBreanna Gross is entering her second year serving the students of Middleton High School and Middleton Academy. Originally from Las Vegas, Breanna began her training at the University of Utah, studying health promotion and education. After spending nine years in Detroit, Michigan, where she raised her four children and felt a strong pull to become a social worker, Breanna completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan, focusing on interpersonal practice.

Breanna is passionate about working with adolescents and advocating for the promotion of mental wellness in young people. “Early intervention and prevention are key,” Breanna believes, and she is dedicated to providing support and creating safe spaces for students.

When Breanna isn’t at work, you can find her at the soccer fields with her four kids and husband. She enjoys puzzling, indoor cycling, curling up with a good book, and watching football. Breanna considers it a privilege to serve the students and families of Middleton School District and looks forward to making a positive impact on their mental health.

Jessica Martinez, LMSW – Middleton Middle School & Middle School AcademyJessica Martinez, LMSW, is a dedicated and compassionate social worker serving students at Middleton Middle School and the Middle School Academy.
Originally from Notus, Idaho, Jessica earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from the College of Idaho and her Master of Social Work from Boise State University. She is passionate about school-based work and advocating for marginalized communities, bringing both professional expertise and a heart for empowering young people to her role as a School-Based Clinical Therapist.

Jessica believes that “every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of growth.” She is drawn to school-based work because it allows her to support students where they spend much of their time, helping them build skills, resilience, and confidence.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys reading, crocheting, watching K-dramas, and listening to music. She considers it a privilege to serve the students and families of Middleton and looks forward to making a positive difference in their lives.
