Mr. Stan Allsberry

My name is Stan Allsberry. I have been teaching since 1990. I began my teaching career for over a decade in Pocatello before coming to Middleton. I earned  B.A. degrees from Idaho State University in Political Science, Music and Secondary Education. I have continued coursework in Curriculum and Instruction and also Educational Leadership from Boise State University, NNU, the University of Idaho and Loyola Marymount University.

I currently teach 6th grade Vikes, 6th grade General Music, 6th grade Social Studies, 6th grade Beginning Band, 7th grade Intermediate Band, and 8th grade Advanced Band. In the Spring, I coach tennis.

I am a member of the Idaho Education Association, recently serving on the Board of Directors at the state level and working as the current Vice President of the Middleton Education Association. I am also a member of the National Music Educator's Association and the National Council for Social Studies.

I have been honored as Middleton Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2011-'12, a Paul Harris Fellowship through Rotary and McDonald's All American High School Band.
