Hello! My name is Carrie Woolstencroft and I am so happy to be your child's teacher! I have taught Kindergarten, First, and Second grade. This will be my 28th year teaching and I still LOVE every single minute of it! My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students learn and grow. Second grade is filled with exciting new experiences and new adventures! It's an honor to get to experience all of these milestones with my scholars! 

     I grew up in California and just moved here last year. I love Middleton and I feel so blessed to be a part of this amazing community. I have been so impressed with how everyone looks out for each other and is so incredibly kind and helpful. We have such a special place here!

     I graduated from UC Davis with a BA in Political Science, SFSU with my Teaching Credential, and CSUS with my MA in Language and Literacy. I love to read and I LOVE to teach others to read. I think reading is a gift you get to open and use every day of your life! 

     I have been married for 25 years and we have two kids. Molly is 22 and she has just graduated from college and Nicholas is 19 and he is attending college in California. He plays football and I am his biggest fan! We love to go camping and boating. We used to go to Disneyland every month, but now we are too far, so we get our Disney fix by having Disney Movie Night at home whenever our kids are visiting. My favorite is Coco!  We also love to watch football and I have just started getting into gardening. I am not very good at it yet, but it sure has been fun to learn! 

     I look forward to learning and growing with my scholars this year and I can't wait to build a community of learners with all of you!
