Upcoming at MCE

  • Thank you PTA!!!

The PTA voted to buy new crosswalk vests and safty cones for the front crosswalk area.  This spring we will be painting the crosswalk with reflective paint and marking the  area to remind drivers to not stop in the crosswalk area.

    Next PTA meetings will be:

    • Tuesday, February 28 at 3:00 pm
    • Thursday, April 6 at 8:30 am

Recess will be determined on a case by case basis. If temperatures are below 20 for an extended period of time, I will start to send them out for a modified recess. Please dress your child with proper snow boots and  consider sending a back up pair of socks in their backpacks.

    So much snow at MCE!

There has been much excitement with the snow on our playground! Please remember to dress your child appropriately for the conditions as we will be out playing in the  snow during our recess times. Fun snow activities are encouraged, yet hurtful snow activities are discouraged. We have started the conversations with our students about the difference between these and would appreciate if you had the conversation at home as well.
